March has been a great month for Winder Power, with our team making waves across the industry while successfully driving forward major projects and advancing our multi-million-pound factory upgrade. Our business has grown stronger and stronger each day, and our talented team has remained at the core of everything we do.
A major highlight was the Insider’s Made in Yorkshire Awards, where we were shortlisted for Manufacturer of the Year (over £25 million). Held at New Dock Hall on Thursday 6th March, our team – including Mark, Andy P, Deb, Carly, Jared, Ash, Joe A, Joe G, Peter, and Ben – attended the highly recognised event.
Being shortlisted alone was a huge honour, and we were proud to stand among the best in Yorkshire’s manufacturing sector. We remain committed to pushing the boundaries and setting new industry standards.
On March 12th, Charlotte (Head of Sales – Grid) and Carly (Marketing Manager) represented Winder Power at the Distributed Energy Show in Birmingham. This event provided a great opportunity to engage with industry leaders, explore innovations in energy, and strengthen relationships within the sector. Our attendance underscored our commitment to staying ahead in the evolving energy landscape. We are looking forward to having our own stands at All Energy as well as Solar & Storage NEC this year.
Closing out the month, Mark, Andy M, Carly, and Jared attended the Yorkshire’s Fastest 50 Awards lunch on March 28th. This amazing event celebrated Yorkshire’s fastest-growing companies, and we were proud to be recognised among them. Making it onto this exclusive list highlighted our consistent growth and commitment to excellence. We are proud to be placed 14th out of the 50.
Amidst all these exciting events, our team worked tirelessly to deliver outstanding projects while managing the ongoing factory upgrade. As our operations expanded, so did our team, reinforcing our vision for a stronger and more innovative future. March has been a fantastic month, and we look forward to what’s ahead for Winder Power (trust us, there are even more exciting things happening)!
