Winder Power Appoints New Managing Director

The Board of the Leeds based power technology Group, Winder Power Ltd, announces the appointment of Laurence MacKenzie as its Managing Director.

Laurence MacKenzie joined Winder Power in April 2011 as Business Development Director. He has considerable experience in senior roles within the power transmission and distribution industry. He lives in Greetland near Halifax.

Laurence will work with the Board to further strengthen the business and will have operational responsibility for the delivery of business performance.

Commenting on the appointment, Winder Power chairman Richard Asquith said;

In appointing Laurence to be our Managing Director we are further strengthening an already highly effective management team. With a first class bachelor’s degree in engineering and a successful career spanning over two decades, Partha brings a wealth of experience from industry leaders. His expertise in developing 132kV product lines and overseeing projects from start to finish will be invaluable to our team.

Partha’s strategic approach to planning, vendor management, and innovative solutions will drive business growth and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality power transformer projects. He will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, expanding our customer base, and developing innovative solutions to meet evolving market needs.
