At Winder Power, our commitment to engineering excellence and powering the future never stops. In March we marked another exciting chapter as our Executive Leadership team – Paul, Andy M, Mark, Partha, and Josh embarked on two key missions in Turkey, reinforcing our dedication to delivering high-quality, reliable power solutions.
The first part of the week saw our Executive Leadership team in Istanbul, working alongside one of our valued DNO customers to audit our manufacturing partner’s factory for Distribution Transformers. Quality and precision are at the core of what we do, ensuring that every component meets the highest industry standards.
Our Executive leadership team then travelled to Balıkesir, where they joined forces with our Grid Transformer manufacturing partner, BEST Transformer, alongside our customers Morrison Energy Services, SSE Renewables, and AECOM, to witness the successful Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for the 2x 275/33kV 180MVA Grid Transformers. These transformers, destined for the Monk Fryston project, went through a series of testing over eight days to guarantee optimal performance and reliability before they get delivered and installed in the coming months.
This milestone is a testament to our unwavering focus on quality, collaboration, and innovation. A huge thanks to our partners, customers, and dedicated teams who have worked tirelessly to make this possible.
